October 19, 2010 - Innovation Network Launch

Patrick Kingsley-Williams, MD of MWL Systems, represented one of the best and longest established business support organisations in the area - the West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce - at the auspicious launch of the Mersey Dee Alliances’ (MDA’s) Innovation Network at Airbus’ Broughton facility in October.

Patrick was one of a number of high-profile guest speakers at the event, including Lord Barry Jones and Chairman of the MDA Professor John Allen.  The key theme was the fact that organisations have come together in what has become a dynamic and diverse economic region and forged a true partnership approach with the MDA and its new innovation network, with the common aim of highlighting and directing support to knowledge-based businesses, both large and small.

Summarising the day, Patrick said:  “The Chamber Network can support a business throughout its natural lifecycle, from start-up, through to development, and on to growth and beyond.  My own company MWL Systems has been a member for most of its 25 years existence.  We attend the frequent breakfast network meetings and use many of the services offered by the Chamber including the excellent HR and legal advice hotlines.  In conclusion, the Chamber is proud to be a key partner of the Mersey Dee Alliance and are certain it will go from strength to strength providing worthwhile and practical support to the Knowledge Based and innovative businesses of the region.”
